Directions
Pour 2 cups boiling water over 1 tea bag and let steep covered until cool. Strain and squeeze out all essence from herbs. Pour slowly over clean and conditioned wet hair massaging the infusion into your hair and scalp. Keep a large bowl under head to catch liquids and reapply several times or poor in spray bottle and apply. Rinse with cool water, or for extra conditioning benefits, just leave it in and dry as normal.
Tips
Tips for enhancing your Hair Tea Rinse
- Add 1 Tablespoon cider vinegar can be added to the strained infusion to help rinse out soap residue, soften hair, and close the hair cuticle to add shine
- Add a couple drops of a favorite essential oil to hair rinses — both to increase effectiveness and for the aromatherapy benefits.
- Add 3 TBS Apple Cider Vinegar (for deep conditioning if your hair is really dry) or 3 TBS Distilled White Vinegar (for normal conditioning)
